ZITT History

1922
Company founded by Karl Zitt. Production of artistically crafted objects made of metal.

1934
Specialisation in the production of industrial labels.

1945
ZITT was completely destroyed during the Second World War. Some employees salvaged tools from the ruins and used them to start production after the war.

1970
Start of plastics production - the automotive industry discovers ZITT. Production of automotive emblems and trim parts begins.

2000
Certification according to ISO 9001

2004
Successful participation by ZITT in the Ökoprofit Munich project.

2007
Development of a process for the back injection moulding of metal foil for the production of decorative parts.

2013
Start of production of operating and keyboard foils and plates.
